2 Day Aydar Lake Yurt Camping Tour from Samarkand
Day 1 Samarkand to Aydar Lake Camping
Hotel Pickup or Meeting Point: Meet your driver at your hotel reception. Departure from Samarkand to Aydar Lake Yurt Camp. On the way, your driver can make several stops upon request. The journey will take approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Arrival at Aydar Lake - You will be welcomed with lunch by the lake. After lunch, transfer to the yurts for check-in and some rest. Upon request, a camel-riding activity can be arranged near the camp. Before sunset, your driver can take you to the lake for a short walk. Afterwards, return to the yurt camp..
  • Evening – Dinner - will be served at the camp. After dinner, gather around the campfire, enjoy traditional folk music, and spend your evening under the open desert sky..
  • Overnight stay in yurts.
Day 2 Yurt Camping to Samarkand or Bukhara
Breakfast at Yurt Camping - After having breakfast you can do the following activities:
  • Morning walk near the Lake or Camel Riding If you wish, your driver can take you for a morning walk near the lake. After returning, check out from the yurts and depart for Bukhara or Samarkand. .
  • The way back to Samarkand - Direct Transfer to Samarkand. Approximately 4-4.5 hours drive.
  • On the way to Bukhara - On the way to Bukhara, you may visit:
  • The Fortress of Alexander the Great in Nuratau - built in the 4th century BCE, served as a strategic outpost during his Central Asian campaign. Though mostly in ruins, its remains still overlook the valleys of the Nuratau Mountains.
  • Break for Lunch (Optional): Have lunch at a local cafe or teahouse then continue the Tour.
