Pickup or Meeting Point: Our Guides will come to meet you to your hotel within Old Town of Bukhara. During the Private Walking Tour the following places will be visited:
- Lyabi-Hauz Ensemble - a lively square with madrasahs, khanaka, and the historic pool at the heart of old Bukhara
- Nodir Devonbegi Madrasah - 17th-century madrasa famous for unusual phoenix mosaic decoration.
- Kukeldash Madrasah - largest madrasa in Bukhara, overlooking historic Lyabi-Hauz square.
- Nodir Devonbegi Khanakah - sufi lodge built for dervishes near Lyabi-Hauz complex.
- Sayfuddin Caravanserai - an example of compact caravansarai
- Toki Sarrafon - an old trading dome once famous for money changers.
- Magoki-Attori Mosque - one of the oldest mosques in Bukhara, today home to the Carpet Museum.
- Toki Telpakfurushon - the largest covered bazaar of Bukhara, historically known for hat and traditional skullcap sellers.
- Abdullakhan Tim - an elegant domed bazaar built during the Shaybanid period, mainly used for silk trading.
- Abdulazizkhan Madrasah - a richly decorated madrasa famous for its colorful mosaics and intricate carved details.
- Ulugbek Madrasah - one of the oldest Islamic schools in Bukhara, founded by the great astronomer and ruler Ulugbek.
- Toki Zargaron - a historic trading dome where jewelers once crafted and sold their gold and silver works.
Break for Lunch (Optional): lunch stop can be arranged at a local restaurant if needed. After lunch we will continue the walking tour.
- Kalyan Minaret - the iconic 12th-century tower and one of the most recognizable symbols of Bukhara.
- Kalyan Mosque - a grand Friday mosque capable of accommodating up to 10,000 worshippers.
- Miri Arab Madrasah - an active Islamic madrasa located opposite the Kalyan Mosque.
- Ark Fortress - Ancient citadel of Bukhara’s emirs, residence and stronghold.
- Bolo-Hauz Mosque - known for its elegant wooden pillars beautifully reflected in the pool in front of the mosque.
- Chashma-Ayyub Mausoleum - “Job’s Spring,” associated with the legend of Prophet Job and its sacred water source.
- Ismail Samani Mausoleum - a masterpiece of 10th-century architecture and the oldest preserved monument in Bukhara.
