Gur-Emir Mausoleum - One of the most famous monuments in Samarkand and the final resting place of Amir Timur (Tamerlane) and several members of the Timurid dynasty. The mausoleum is renowned for its magnificent blue dome and exquisite interior decoration.
Registan Square - The historic heart of Samarkand and one of the most impressive architectural ensembles in Central Asia. The square is surrounded by three magnificent madrasahs: Ulugbek Madrasah (15th century), Sher-Dor Madrasah (17th century), and Tilla-Kari Madrasah (17th century).
